Here’s another topper that took a good chunk of time to finish — one way or another, they always do.
I actually started sketching and working on this design a couple of weeks before the machine was even released… but with everything going on, I couldn’t drop it the same day.
Now though? I’m finally happy with how it turned out.
And yeah… by this point in the scene, our big gorilla is a bit beat up. 😬
Couldn’t help but show some bruises and scratches — it just felt right.
This moment — Kong climbing the Empire State, holding the girl in his hand — what better way to see it than at the very top?
